The highways in Epe town is not illuminated at night and could turn the town that is also a major local government in Lagos state into a den for dissident elements to perpetrate their illicit acts.  The residents appeal to the state government that have invested on infrastructure in the local government and environ to beef up security measures in order to keep its inputs intact. Part of this is illumination of the town and neighboring towns around it.

 The return of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC Presidential Candidate to Lagos after twenty days of stay outside Lagos was painted with glamour. However, when he got to Lagos monarch, Oba Rilwan Akiolu's palace in jubilation, hoodlums came to the palace in large numbers and after Asiwaju left with Sanwo-Olu, the dissident elements started stoning the convoy behind, shattered the glasses of the Lagos press crew bus. Journalists were wounded and vehicles destroyed for no reasons. The police are in thorough search of the perpetrators of this dastardly act.

After so much deliberations and meetings, the All Progressives Congress (APC ) have eventually picked the running mate to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2023 Presidential election. Kashim Shettima edged out former speaker of the house of representatives, Hon. Dogara and the present governor of Kaduna state,  El-Rufai. The choice is believed to give acceptance and more votes from the north, therefore, beating PDP to the game.
