 The candidature of Fouad Oki to the elections of Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) is given the full support by Lagos ex-footballers and other departments of the game stakeholders.  Fouad Oki This has translated to victory for all the candidates fielded by the above mentioned stakeholders today. The FA is now poised to wear a new jers and stands to take the game of football to the next level irrespective of class, cadres and divisional administrations.  The super falcons of Nigeria proved to the world that they are the best in Africa in a spectacular match played against the host nation, Morrocco After been showed two red cards, played with nine players against eleven, the super falcons held their ground and ended it in penalty kicks and it ended in 5 - 4 after a 1 - 1 draw of the regulation time.   The Managing Director/CEO of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni, has said that the high cost of diesel, currently being experienced across the country, is seriously hampering the waste evacuation operations of the agency. He stated this on Tuesday, adding that practical steps were being taken, to address the issue, as the agency is working assiduously on tackling present environmental challenges being faced in the state.  Odumboni said: "We have redoubled our efforts, working round the clock to ensure that we evacuate all waste anywhere around the city. The scarcity and high cost of diesel has been a major challenge, as all service providers' trucks run on diesel. Nonetheless, we are doing the needful, to maintain a clean environment and prevent health hazard to the people”. The highways in Epe town is not illuminated at night and could turn the town that is also a major local government in Lagos state into a den for dissident elements to perpetrate their illicit acts.  The residents appeal to the state government that have invested on infrastructure in the local government and environ to beef up security measures in order to keep its inputs intact. Part of this is illumination of the town and neighboring towns around it.

 The return of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC Presidential Candidate to Lagos after twenty days of stay outside Lagos was painted with glamour. However, when he got to Lagos monarch, Oba Rilwan Akiolu's palace in jubilation, hoodlums came to the palace in large numbers and after Asiwaju left with Sanwo-Olu, the dissident elements started stoning the convoy behind, shattered the glasses of the Lagos press crew bus. Journalists were wounded and vehicles destroyed for no reasons. The police are in thorough search of the perpetrators of this dastardly act.

A Coach Shakiru Giwa Ladegbuwa Football Club of Owu Ijebu on Wednesday commences their 2022 Nationwide League (NLO 1) Season with a stalemate outing on Wednesday against Flamingo Football Club at Dipo Dina Stadium, ijebu Ode, Ogun State. Contrast to the goalless scoreline, the match was a keenly contested duel as both teams charged at each other in search of a vital goal.
