EX-LSFA FOOTBALLER, WEMIMO TAIWO IS DEAD...




An ex footballer in Lagos, Mr Wemimo Taiwo who played for the Nigerian Air Force Football Club passed on in August 14th, 2021. 

A member of All Stars Obanikoro, Lagos State and a prominent one for that matter is been mourned by all ex footballers and his well wishers.

Wemimo has been on the platform of agitation towards ex- football and other sports players' welfare. In this wise, Lagos state had succeeded in employing the youths through sports with the support of corporate and private participation. This, ex-sports players shall continue to clamour for without prejudice.

The funeral arrangement have been sent to the executive members of All Stars Obanikoro, Lagos for dissemination to appropriate quarters. 

He is aged 58 years of age

  Violence against women and girl child has been so phenomenal in our society from time immemorial and needs to be curtailed and put to rest forever. This is the motive behind the nongovernmental organization W-LIT that have put in place the machineries to fight this menace.  "Women Liberation and Transformation Initiative" led by Mrs. Toyin Mike-Taiwo have taken their course to the grassroot in order to get the masses informed about violence against humanity which encompasses a whole and not partial advocacy against men and women.
