DAVID NTUK – TALENT IN DIASPORA (Sports Beat)

The youngster who hails from Akwa Ibom state has been playing football from the tender age in the streets of Port Harcourt, Rivers state where he was born and bred by a strict education minded parents “My parents make education a top priority for my siblings and I” says David.

Despite his combining Football and studies, he captained Topfaith international secondary school, Akwa Ibom, this deprived David an opportunity to go to Belgium for trials during the principal cup competitions due to school activities.

David moved to Lagos to play for the renowned Abarowei Football Academy for a while before he went to China to further his studies, it may be recalled that Dickson Abiama of Bundesliga club Greuther Furth was a graduate of Abarowei Football Academy. 


“All I wished for and my childhood dream has been to play for a top European club and possibly play for Nigeria in the World Cup”. The 19 year old right winger, Ntuk David  is presently  studying business administration in the Liaoning Shihua University, while playing for Amateur side Yandong FC. He is hoping to toe the line of erstwhile Nigerian international striker, Jonathan Akpoborie who crossed from the US to Germany to play for Stuttgart and some notable German Bundesliga teams.
