CAPITAL PUNISHMENT - The_Imani

Image
G Capital Punishment: The Jury Behind The Gavel by   The_Imani     January 10, 2022 It starts with the gavel, three bangs that seal the fate of a convict; so unds that haunt the 3008 death row inmates all of which seat like shy brides awaiting their deaths in poorly staffed Nigerian prisons. It would do me no honor to argue for their complicity in the crimes of which they were accused as human nature is never easily understood and only the perpetrator and victims have true knowledge of the crime committed. Thankfully, th is post cares not for condemnation nor exoneration but about the complicity of passersby in these crimes, at how a little push could prevent the executioner from another night of horrors. Many of us know one abused child, a violent drunk and maybe one or two persons that patronise those young women at roadside bars much too young to make their own decisions. We have probably heard someone shout for help across the street and watch, heads bowed in t...

NIGERIAN GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL HAS FAILED COMPLETELY, AND NEEDS AN EMERGENCY OPERATION.

Image
Akorom Richard  Nigerian Grassroots football has failed totally concerning the Grassroots developmental program and also the organizing of a better under age football league in Nigeria for the upcoming generation, which would have united and give hope to the Grassroots coaches, referees, sports managers, sports writers and Grassroots football players, male and female. This would have reduced the rate of unemployment and insecurity in the country if attention was given to it in the 774 local government in Nigeria.   The government is not looking towards that direction and with the (SDGs) social developmental goals has shown that in every family, one or two are into Grassroots sports and football in particular, and statistics has proven that 62 million youths are into Grassroots sports at the local government level which shows that when such numbers of youths are unemployed at the grassroot level, and are idle,  that means insecurity in Nigeria will not end in 50years ...
